Luana Smith Barton

Faleceu

Luana Smith Barton, life-long resident of Centerville, passed away peacefully at her home on April 15, 2018 at the age of 91. She was born to Carl N. and Norma Adams Smith on January 26, 1927. She was the first of three daughters. Preceded in death by her husband Blair N. Barton.
Blair and Luana were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 11, 1947. Together they raised nine children: Don (Lorraine), Wendy, Sue, Kaye (Paula), Val (Cindy), Rick (Yvonne), Kent (Char), Craig (Lynda), John (Penny). In addition to her children, she is survived by 20 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and her two sisters. She would want them to know how much she loved each of them.
She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and always wanted her family to know it. She served in a variety of Church callings and enjoyed working in the Salt Lake and Bountiful Temples for many years.
Luana was a wonderful cook and kept her family well fed. She loved serving her family and always wanted the best for us. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters Shirlene Henderson and Marilou Wilson.
Special thanks to her daughter Wendy who did more than we will ever know over the years to help mom in every way she could.
WE LOVE YOU MOM!
