Bryan Benson Crow
1952-2018
Bryan Benson Crow passed away on April 10, 2018, at the age of 65. He was born on August 17, 1952, in Houston, Texas; to Marvin Everett Crow and Helen Patricia O'Bryan. Bryan grew up in Pasadena, Texas and was a 1970 graduate of Sam Rayburn High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Houston Central Campus in 1975. He was a Mechanical Contractor and worked at several companies before opening his own company, United Mechanical, Inc. Bryan was an Eagle Scout (1970), received Order of the Arrow Brotherhood and God and Country. He was a Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as well as a Lifetime Committeeman. He served on the Press Corral Club and Souvenir Program Committees.
Bryan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael Everett Crow.
Bryan is survived by his wife Karen, daughter Bryanne Mayo (Paul) of Austin, Texas, and their children, Lily, Wade and Cora; his son, Jeremy Crow of Austin, Texas; his step-son, Christopher DeCuir (Erin) of Houston, Texas and their children, Charleston, Samantha and Joseph; Siblings, Walter Patrick Crow (Pamela) and their children, Evan and Brandon; Joel Francis Crow (Robin) and their children, Logan and Lauren; sister-in-law Nita Powell and her child Blake Crow (Rainey), as well as the mother of his children, Teena Shelby.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 28 at Schmidt Funeral Home, 1344 West Grand Parkway South, Katy, Texas, with Pastor Alex Zeisig of St. Peters United Methodist Church officiating. Visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 pm, with the Memorial Service thereafter.
