ALETHA LANE HELM (Age 57)  
Aletha Lane Helm, of Springfield, Virginia, born in Alexandria, Virginia on November 4, 1961 lost a four-and-a-half year long bout with breast cancer on Tuesday, March 14, 2018. She was a wonderful and much-loved flute teacher, E.S.O.L. teacher, musician, committed mother and wife. She is survived by husband Daniel and daughter Katherine (Katie). A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Demaine Funeral Home, 5308 Backlick Road, Springfield, VA 22151.
