Of Haymarket, VA, on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at his home. Beloved husband of 58 years to Kathryn Harvey Brooks; devoted father of Karen Brooks Flis and the late Alfred Young Brooks, Jr.; brother of Douglas L. Brooks (Lora A. Brooks). He is also survived by two grandchildren, Jordan Kathlyn Flis and Alexandra Young Flis.
