Albert Furman Korean War veteran, 'lived life to the fullest,' 89 Albert Furman of Boynton Beach, Fla., formerly of Baldwin, N.Y., 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 9, 2018 at CareOne in Livingston, N.J. He was born Nov. 26, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Harry and Jennie Furman. He was a graduate of Aviation High School, a veteran of the Korean War and married Sandra Landes on Dec. 25, 1955, in New York City. Albert lived life to the fullest enjoying friends and spending time with family. He is survived by his sons, Mark and Steven; daughters-in-law, Jacki and Meredith; grandchildren, Rachel, Carly, Gabrielle and Tucker; great-grandchildren, Kieran, Oliver and Brooke; a sister, Pat King, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The funeral was held on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, N.J. Family, friends, and others whose lives Albert touched are welcome to make donations in his honor to K9's for Warriors, k9sforwarriors.org. Arrangements were handled by Menorah Chapels at Millburn, 908-964-1500.
