Alice L. Grabowski Mass is on Monday for former North Arlington resident Alice L. Grabowski, 97, died on March 8, 2018, at the Willows at Ramapo Nursing Center in Suffern, N.Y., surrounded by her loved ones, Joe and Jan Miller, and their sons, Joey and Danny Miller. The funeral will be from the Parow Funeral Home, 185 Ridge Rd., North Arlington, N.J., on Monday, March 12, at 10:15 a.m., thence to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, North Arlington, for the Funeral Mass at 11:15 a.m. The interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday 3 to 6 p.m. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Alice lived in North Arlington from 1955 to 2010. She worked as a payroll clerk for the R.C.A. Corporation in Harrison, N.J., for 35 years before retiring in 1976. She was the beloved daughter of the late Alexander and Maryanna Grabowski and the adored sister of the late Wanda Grabowski. Alice was a member of the Queen of Peace Rosary Society and the Nutrition Center, and a past member and recording secretary of the Democratic Club, all of North Arlington.
