Alexander Baczynsky  
Passed away on February 21, 2018. He was predeceased by his parents, Eugen and Wira; wife Patricia Barnard; and sister, Tamara Vitkovitsky. Born in Ukraine in 1935, at the age of eight, he and his family endured a perilous, multi-country trip across Europe to escape the war before making their way to the United States. Alex lived and worked in the Washington, DC area, residing with his wife in Olney, MD over 40 years. He retired from Auth Brothers in 1997. He was an avid soccer player and fan and took great joy in seeing his nieces and nephews play the sport at all levels. He leaves behind sisters-in-law, Theresa Flanagan, Sr. Jeanne Barnard, SSJ, Elizabeth Flanagan, and Teresa Barnard and a host of nieces, nephews and friends, who love him very much. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on March 10, 2018 at St. John Vianney, 105 Vianney Lane, Prince Frederick, MD 20678.
