Alexander John Gichan III Business owner, accomplished pilot; services on Tuesday Alexander John Gichan III, 61, of Wayne, N.J., formerly of Lincoln Park, N.J., died on March 1, 2018. Visiting will be at The Keri Memorial Funeral Home, 125 Main St., Lincoln Park, on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment is at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Alexander lived in Secaucus and Flemington, N.J., before moving to Lincoln Park 13 years ago. He was the owner of Alexander Pallets and AGA Wood Recycling, Jersey City and North Bergen. An accomplished pilot, he spent much time flying and traveling. He was a member of The EAA (Experimental Aircraft Association), chapter 501, in Lincoln Park. He enjoyed fixing things and often said, "If I can't do it, no one can!" He was generous to all he came in contact with. Alexander was the father of Rachel and Sasha Gichan. He was the former husband of Patti Gichan; brother of Gregory Gichan and Patricia Maginsky; companion of Regina Joyce; cousin of Larry Gichan, and nephew of Lawrence and Mary Gichan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations to The would be appreciated.
