Alline Riley Crossfield  
Of Silver Spring, MD passed peacefully in her sleep February 17, 2018. She was born in Wichita Falls, TX in 1920. Daughter of the late Robert Lee and Fannie Douglas Riley. She was the loving wife of the late Phillip Crossfield. She lived a long life and happy life as a homemaker and volunteer. Her volunteer work included service to her churches Ninth Street Christian Church and North Chevy Chase Christian Church, leadership in PTA and the Girl Scouts, and docent at the Smithsonian Museum of American History.She is survived by her sister, Lois Redwine of Temple, TX and daughters, Cathleen Berlett (Bob) Columbia, MD, Patricia Drizd (Terry) Dagsboro, DE, Carol Digby (Charles) Pleasant Ridge, MI, and Phyllis Smigocki (Tim) Burtonsville, MD. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Alline's life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The at www.alz.org
