EDWARDS, A. RAY passed away February 23, in Pembroke Pines, at age 84. Ray was a US Army veteran and worked for Eastern Airlines where he started as an Apprentice Mechanic and ended his career at Eastern Airlines as a Manager, FAA Liaison, retiring in 1999. Ray enjoyed life especially country music, dancing with his wife, trips in his van and his family and special friends. Ray was a great husband, father and step-father to Kathy. He is pre-deceased by his sons Ronnie and Skippy. Survived by his wife Joanne, daughters Kathy March and Vicki Reid. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 1, starting at 3:00 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service & Military Honors at 4:00 PM, followed by Reception until 6:30 PM at Boyd-Panciera University Drive Chapel.
