May 12, 1956 - February 8, 2018 Andrea Armando Avesani 61, of Lakewood California, passed away on February 8th. He is survived by his daughter Angela, granddaughter Chanel, and sisters Susanna and Guia. Born in Livorno Italy, to Giovanni and Michela Avesani, Andrea (Andy) moved to the U.S.A. in 1972 . He graduated from Dana Hills High School in 1974 exelling in both football and wrestling. He later served in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged 1979 with the rank of AK2(E-5). From 1982-1985 he attended Orange Coast College and Wilmington College of Oceaniring majoring in marine technology and specializing in commercial diving. Andrea loved his community and volunteered regularly at the V.A. Hospital assisting disabled veterans. He was a kind and giving man, with a huge heart and even larger sense of humor.
