Alan Jay AndreasenFeb 21, 1944 - Jan 18, 2018Alan Jay Andreasen died unexpectedly on Jan. 18 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, in the arms of his beloved partner Nathan Liu. He was 73. Alan was an accomplished trombone player and an avid traveler to the end. His humbleness, generosity and kindness are remembered by his friends, and a deep romantic love by his partner.
In addition to his partner of 8 years, Alan is survived by a cousin, Bruce Trumbo of Hayward, Calif. and a nephew, Paul Connelly of Arlington Heights, IL.
A Memorial service will be held Sat. 3rd March at 3pm at 950 B Street, Hayward, CA.
