Alice Maxine Butts
1931-2018
Alice Maxine Butts, 86, entered in to Heaven Wednesday, February 21, 2018. She was born April 9, 1931 in Houston, TX to parents, Helen & Roland Reifel.
While attending Reagan High School, Alice played bells in the Reagan Red Coats Drum and Bugle Corp. In 1960, she was one of the first ladies to join the Traffic Division as a Crossing Guard at White Oak and Harvard St. for Harvard students. She opened Alice Butts Catering, where she provided her services at weddings for many beautiful brides. In 1982, Alice retired from her catering business, and began working as a Night Attendant at Heights Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held Sunday, February 25, 2018 from 4-6 PM at Heights Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held the following afternoon in the chapel of the funeral home at 1 PM.
