Fredrick "Amigo" Gallegos was born September 23, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Margarite Ramirez and Joseph Pete Gallegos. He married Sueann Finch on October 24, 1964 in Paris Idaho.
Fred worked for Kennecott Copper for 35 years. He loved camping, fishing and spending time with his family. He really enjoyed hunting. He was a jokester and liked to tease and play tricks on family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Sueann; daughters, Elaine (Steve) Withers, Laura (Rafael) Arroyo; grandchildren, Felicia, Taija, Scharla, Antonio and Orlando; and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held Saturday February 24, 2018, 1:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 2840 S. 9000 W. Magna Utah. Online condolences: www.peelfuneralhome.com
