Madeline Marie BolbolMarch 1928 - January 2018Recently passed away at home in Belmont with her caring family by her side. Since being diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, Madeline was cared for by her devoted daughter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Önder, her brothers, Mathew, Andrew and Ernest, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter, Deniz, her son-in-law, Pat Cuviello, her sister-in-law and her brothers' families.

Her career allowed her to travel the world, living in Morocco, Italy and Turkey where she met her husband, Önder, whom she married in 1966 and soon left for the U.S., making their home in California. After retirement, Madeline devoted herself to animal rights, her passion. She regularly worked to increase kindness and compassion for all through public outreach to raise awareness of animal suffering, attending protests, and volunteering for elected officials to improve animal protections. Madeline also enjoyed travelling, reading, cooking, playing backgammon, amongst other pastimes.

She will be forever loved and missed by her daughter, family and friends.
