August 26, 1952 - February 14, 2018 Leigh Koepke Hovey died peacefully in Santa Monica on Valentine's Day. Born in Los Angeles to Hedwig and Fred Burling Hovey Jr. The family resided in Crestwood Hills, Ca. Leigh married Irene Kaptur from London, Canada, and was a loving and devoted husband and father to Alexis and Natasha. He also leaves behind his brother Fred Hovey. His brother Richard and sister Hedy are already deceased. Leigh had a successful career as a realtor but his true passion was painting and music. We loved him and he will be greatly missed. There will be a private memorial at a later date to celebrate his life and his work as an artist.
