Algie Jerome Davis Sr. Algie Jerome Davis Sr. of East Orange, N.J., passed away on Feb. 5, 2018. Visitation will take place Friday, Feb. 16, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, 144 Norman St. (at Prospect St.), East Orange, followed immediately by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment is at Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, East Hanover, N.J. Arrangements are by Woody "Home For Services," Orange, N.J. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Sharon Gordon; children, Algie J. Davis Jr., Sean Evan Davis, and Christina A. Gordon; parents, Bessie and Charles Davis, and brother, Yul T. Davis. He is also survived by two grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
