Adelaide M. Hutler Loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother Adelaide M. (Easdale) Hutler, 89, of Bloomfield, N.J., died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Episcopal Church, 128 West Passaic Ave., Rutherford, N.J. 07070, followed by burial at East Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Allwood Funeral Home, 660 Allwood Rd., Clifton, N.J. 07012, allwoodfuneralhome.com. Born in Passaic, N.J., Adelaide lived in Clifton, N.J., and Kearny, N.J., before moving to Rutherford in 1978, finally settling in Bloomfield in 2012. Addie was an LPN who practiced at the Crippled Children's Hospital in Newark, N.J., for 13 years, then in West Hudson Hospital in Kearny for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Stella Chapter No. 20 OES, Lady Mac Lean Lodge No. 34 DOS, and a life member of the Kearny PTA. Addie was a very active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Rutherford. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Charles; by a brother, George Easdale, and by a sister, Margaret Frankenfield. Addie is survived by two sons, Charles J. III of Easton, Pa., and David and wife, Catherine, of Nutley, N.J.; by a daughter, Laura DiMichele and husband, Eugene, of Bloomfield; by four grandchildren, Katherine, Michael, James, and Jennifer; by a great-grandson, Thomas; by a brother, John Easdale of Toms River, N.J., and by a sister-in-law, Jean Easdale of Clifton, N.J. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Grace Church Capital Fund would be appreciated.
