Abdul Karim Jr. Service is on Tuesday Abdul Karim Jr., 78, of Newfoundland, Pa., formerly of Montclair, N.J., died Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. Visiting hours will be Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains, N.J. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12 noon Tuesday. Friends are invited to visit with the family starting at 11 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Cemetery, Clifton, N.J. Mr. Karim is survived by his wife, Margaret; sons, Abdul Karim III; Kaissime Karim and his wife, Andrea; Ahmed Karim Sr. and his wife, Delanie, and Omar Karim; daughter, Zulaka Figueroa; sister, Noorzahan Aditya; 14 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
