Alton L. Jenkens  (Age 88)  
Died peacefully at home on January 23, 2018. He is greatly missed by his surviving sons, Lawrence, Robert and Tony, their spouses, Catherine, John and Joy, his three grandchildren, his beloved sister, Helen, his nieces and nephew and the whole of his extended family. He was predeceased by his wife, Nelle. He served in the U.S. Navy and then for 30 years in the American Foreign Service with postings in Spain, Poland, Italy and Mexico. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 3, at Annunciation Church, 3810 Massachusetts Avenue, NW. Interment will follow at a later date in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Charleston, WV.
