Adele Jeanne ConstantineIncomparable friend, wife, mother, and Yia Yia, Adele Constantine, passed away at age 90 on January 19th. A darling daughter of the greatest generation, Adele Jeanne Haubold was born in San Francisco in 1927. She attended George Washington High School, serving as student body vice president for the Class of Spring 1945. Higher education followed at University of California, Berkeley. She married Peter Constantine in 1947 and they remained the love of each others' lives for 66 years. The Constantines were longtime residents of Millbrae and, since 1990, Discovery Bay. Adele worked for Wells Fargo Bank in Burlingame until her retirement in 1987. She is admired and loved for her love of country, her phenomenal memory, and sense of humor. As strong and passionate as she was petite. Her friends are without number, including her coworker Cathy Lebendig, daughter-in-law Stephanie Prieto, and the late Charles and Frances Durand. Adele is now at peace and reunited with her beloved Peter and son Bradley. She is survived by daughter Carol Anne Bezanson, son Craig, and grandsons Dominic, Cole, Nick, and Chris.

Visitation will be held at Brentwood Funeral Home , 839 First Street Brentwood California on Thursday, Jan. 25th at 12 noon, with service to follow at 1 PM. Interment on Friday, Jan. 26th at noon. Skylawn Memorial Park, San Mateo, California.
