On Monday, December 25, 2017 in Annapolis, MD, formerly of Bethesda, MD. Born December 14, 1929 in Wilkes Barre, PA to the late Thomas J. Sr. and Winifred A. (nee Durkan) Elward. Beloved sister of Mary Catherine Halvorsen, Francis J. Elward, and the late Elizabeth Donham, Thomas J. Elward, Jr. and Patricia M. Schulze. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 7500 Pearl Street, Bethesda, MD on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Washington, DC on Saturday, January 6 at 11 a.m. (Meet at the main office).
