Alice MacMunn Burke Former resident of Newark and Lakewood, 98 Alice MacMunn Burke died peacefully on Dec. 20, 2017, at Maria Regina Nursing Home in Brentwood, N.Y., at the age of 98. Mrs. Burke was formerly of Newark, N.J., and Lakewood, N.J. She was the beloved wife of the late Edmund Joseph Burke Jr.; loving mother of Kevin Burke and Edmund Burke, and the late Michael Burke; cherished grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of three. Interment and burial services will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, N.J.
