Dr. AMIR S. BANISAR  
On December 19, 2017, passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife, Judith Connors Banisar; children, Susan Bonds, Chris LaPlaca and David Banisar; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Born in Isfahan, Iran in 1928, and came to the US in 1955. He was a general surgeon for 45 years and President of Prince Georges Medical Society. He worked at Doctors Community Hospital and Prince Georges Hospital, where he served as Chairman of Surgery, President of the Medical Staff and on the Dimensions Health Board of Directors.A memorial will be held at his home for family and personal friends on December 30, between 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Donations in his memoay can be made to Doctors Community Hospital, and Prince Georges Hospital.
