She later worked for many years at Herbert Hoover Middle School utilizing her great organizational skills making sure every student had their required textbooks and that the library was stocked with books. Agnes was one of the few remaining who could tell entertaining and humorous stories about growing up on Kauai before WWII and life in Hawaii during the war years. We will miss her many stories and large family gatherings. She was the "Matriarch" of 28th Avenue.
