Alfred A. Russo Funeral is on Saturday for former Clifton resident Alfred A. Russo, 86, of Manchester, N.J., formerly of Clifton, N.J., passed away on Dec. 4, 2017. Funeral is on Saturday at 8:45 a.m. at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, ShookFH.com, and 10 a.m. at St. Clare's RC Church, Clifton. Interment is in East Ridgelawn Cemetery, Clifton. Visiting is on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Born in Passaic, N.J., Alfred lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Manchester in 2003. He was the beloved husband for 62 years of Eileen (Ducey); devoted father of Gail Paone and her husband, Richard, of Manchester, and Rosemary Ficarra and her husband, Gaetano, of Woodland Park, N.J.; loving grandfather of Dr. Jeffrey Paone and his wife, Erin; Anthony Ficarra; Andrea Ficarra and her fiance, Gregory Magliano, and Thomas Ficarra; the cherished great-grandfather of Emilia and Brendan Paone, and the dear brother of the late Lorraine Perugino.
