Our loving Father passed away on November 28, 2017 at the age of 96. He was predeceased in death by his loving wife and sweetheart, Virginia of 66 years. Devoted Father to Virginia (Curtis) Orchard, identical twins Felicia and Clelia (deceased), and Albert III. Doting Grandfather to Andrew (Kristina), Catherine, Christina, Jaclyn (Harold) and two great-grandchildren. He was also predeceased in death by his parents, Albert and Felice (Turchi) Battista. Our Father was a 1939 graduate of St. John's College High School and a 1943 graduate of The Catholic University of America School of Engineering.Friends may call at Church of the Annunciation, 3810 Massachusetts Ave., N.W., Washington, DC on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in his memory to the Daylesford Abbey, 220 South Valley Road, Paoli, PA 19301 (ATTN: Development/Memorial gifts). The family wishes to thank his devoted and loving caregivers MaeBelle, Kumba and Jemi.
