Alfred A. Bahlkow

Al Bahlkow was born in St. Louis, MO on September 25, 1922 and died on November 30, 2017. Al was a sergeant in the Marines in World War II. He served in the South Pacific, and while there contracted dengae fever, malaria, and tuberculosis. He spent three years in a military hospital. He was a true hero!

Al graduated with honors from the University of Arizona, and was an engineer and supervisor in tool design at Boeing.

Al is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen, as well as his children, Kristine, Linda (Vic), Susan (Doug) and Robert, along with several grandchildren and stepdaughters.

A memorial service will be held

at St. Dunstan's Church on Friday,

December 8 at 3:00 p.m., 722 N. 145th St., Shoreline, WA 98133.
