Allen Joseph Bucchino
1933-2017
Allen Joseph Bucchino died on October 15, 2017. Allen was born in New York, but was a fifty (50) year resident of Houston. Allen grew up in Brooklyn and received a business degree from New York University.
He was in the United States Air Force and Air Force Reserve. He was one of the original 'Hurricane Hunters', flying aircraft into hurricanes while stationed in Bermuda.
After the Air Force, Allen became involved in the burgeoning mobile home industry with his father Ricky Bucchino. During this time period, he lived in Indiana, Florida, and then Houston, Texas. Allen owned numerous mobile home dealerships in Houston and became a savvy real estate investor. He also owned nightclubs in Houston; most notably, "Bucchino's Penthouse".
Allen loved gambling, offshore fishing, traveling, a good party, and beautiful women. He was single for his 50 plus years in Houston, and never lacked for a date.
Allen was generous to his friends and extended family. He leaves behind an empty hole that will never be filled.
A "Celebration of Life" will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Revival House Church, 2560 Old Louetta Loop, Spring, Texas 77388. There will be an Open House at 1919 Nantucket following the ceremony.
