Anthony Gialanella Jr. Formerly of Newark and West Caldwell Anthony Gialanella Jr. was born on Oct. 1, 1920, in Newark, N.J., to Anthony and Vincenza (nee Silvis) Gialanella. He died Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at Addolorata Villa in Wheeling, Ill. Anthony was a longtime resident of Newark and West Caldwell, N.J. Anthony is survived by his sons, Anthony (Robin) Gialanella III and Leonard (Paolina) Gialanella; his grandchildren, Michael and Nikki Gialanella; and his brother, Rudolph Gialanella. He was also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Gialanella (nee Pellecchia); his parents; and his siblings, Joseph Gialanella, Dorothy Russo, Connie Branca, and Robert Gialanella.
