Alice Imperiale Beloved mother Alice Imperiale of Nutley, N.J., in her own irreverent words, "got off the planet," having passed away on Feb. 28, 2018, her 94th birthday. Alice was the beloved mother of eight children, Pamela, Peter, Mark, Michael, Matthew, Thomas, Brian, and Christopher, as well as grandmother of 13, and great-grandmother of five. She was married to and divorced from Peter Imperiale, father of their eight children. He passed away in 1985. Alice was employed for about 35 years at a local medical office, and was a Eucharistic minister and active Rosary Society member at St. Mary's Catholic Church. She loved her home of 62 years, had a special place in her heart for her dogs, had great fun playing cards with a group of women friends, and enjoyed swimming, gardening, home decorating, sewing, needlework, and other crafts. She was known for her cheerful, friendly demeanor, sense of humor and wit, and steadfast devotion to her family and others in her life. Alice will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
