Alfred Potulski Retired tool-and-die maker and longtime Kearny resident, lived at Leisure Knoll Alfred Potulski, 89, of Leisure Knoll, Manchester, N.J., died Sunday, April 1, 2018, at home, surrounded by family. The memorial funeral liturgy is Saturday at 9 a.m. at St. John's Church Chapel, Lakehurst, N.J., with inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, N.J. Born in Jersey City, N.J., Alfred lived for most of his life in Kearny, N.J., before moving to Manchester 19 years ago. He was employed for 42 years as a tool-and-die maker for Standard Tools, Lyndhurst, N.J., before retiring 20 years ago. He was a parishioner of St. John's Church, Lakehurst, N.J., and sang in the church choir. Alfred was a member of both the Knights of Columbus, Council 10022, Leisure Knoll, and the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, McMahon Assembly, Toms River, N.J. He was a member of the Polish-American Club and the Monday Afternoon Bowling League of Leisure Knoll. Alfred was predeceased by a sister, Florence Clifford. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Wanda (Jagiello) Potulski; two sons and their wives, Dr. Frederick and Karin Potulski of Wall, N.J.; John and Melissa Potulski of Gilbert, Ariz.; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Ronald Solares of Marlton, N.J.; sister, Eleanor Wroblewski of Florida, and eight grandchildren, Adam and Susan, Stephanie and Jeremy, Ronald, Jessica, Ashley, and Johnny.
