A. Irving Rosenberg Longtime attorney in Union A. Irving Rosenberg, 96, of Hopatcong, N.J., and Delray Beach, Fla., died on Thursday, March 29, 2018, at his Delray Beach residence. Graveside services will be held at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, N.J., on Monday, April 2, at 10:30 a.m. Arrangements are by the Menorah Chapels at Millburn, Union, N.J. Mr. Rosenberg was an attorney with a private practice in Union for over 50 years, retiring 20 years ago. He earned his law degree from the New Jersey Law School (now Rutgers, Newark) in 1948. A veteran of new U.S. Navy during World War II, he was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Lions Club, and the Jewish War Veterans. Born in Newark, N.J., he lived in Union for many years, simultaneously maintaining a summer residence in Hopatcong, N.J., since 1957, and a residence in Florida for 35 years, making Hopatcong his permanent residence three years ago. Predeceased by his wife, Toby (nee Kalb), and his son, Dr. Elliot Rosenberg, he is survived by his son, Jeffrey Rosenberg and his wife, Dr. Harriet Sepinwall; his brother, Jerome Rosenberg and his wife, Elaine; his daughter-in-law, Jodie Rosenberg; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
