Adriana Palmisano Devoted and caring mother, grandmother and sister Adriana Palmisano (nee DiGiorgio), 83, of Elizabeth, N.J., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017, at home surrounded by her loving family. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral at the Corsentino Home For Funerals, 620 Second Ave., corner of John Street, Elizabeth, on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, at 8 a.m., thence to St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, Elizabeth, where at 9:30 a.m. a Funeral Mass will be offered. Viewing will be at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Entombment will be at Rosedale Cemetery, Linden, N.J. Adriana was born in Vallata, Italy, and in 1954, she came to and settled in Elizabeth, N.J. She loved cooking and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Adriana was a member of the Vallatese Ladies Club of Elizabeth. A devoted and caring mother, grandmother and sister. Adriana is survived by her loving children, Nina and her husband, Roy Deahl, John and his wife, Maria Palmisano, and Vito Palmisano; cherished grandchildren, John M., Matthew and Grace Palmisano, and Andriana and Daniella Deahl; brother, Carmine DiGiorgio, and sister-in-law, Rosetta. Adriana was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vito Palmisano, and daughter, Grace Palmisano.
