TOUSSAINT, ALBERT R., 89, passed away peacefully from natural causes at his home in Miami Shores on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2017. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nancy, and is survived by his only child, Jan, brother Bayard Toussaint and sister Joan Kent. Al was a self-educated civil engineer & surveyor whose passion for and dedication to his work will endure forever. He also enjoyed cattle ranching and exploring the great outdoors. With his insatiable desire to remain interested in everything and engaged in life he continued working up until his death. A memorial service is planned for Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Miami Shores McArthur Chapel and a Celebration of Life Brunch following at 11:30 a.m. at the Miami Shores Country Club.
