Born Oct 29, 1929 in Cardston, Alberta Canada. Died, Peacefully, August 16, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah
Some angels came the other day and took our Angel home. We miss you mom in every way, Alberta Rothe born. You always wiped our tears away and hugged us with your heart We miss you little butterfly , your horse still pulls our carts! From wherever you are watching us We feel you still, and know. You're always in our thoughts and hearts, Somehow, goodbye, for now.
Berta…..DAUGHTER to Edgar Julius Rothe and Jennie Catherine Adams, SISTER to Frank, Tex and June Lapointe, WIFE to Grant LeRoy Nielson, MOTHER to 7 children…Toi, Rico, Ray, Peg, Guy, Vic & Ed, GRAMA to 20 grandkids, GREAT GRAMA to 21 grandchildren, & FRIEND TO ALL.
Berta had so many talents its hard to list them all, but she enjoyed painting,
playing piano and Ukulele, Family History, dancing, singing, sewing, cross stitch, travel, poetry speaking & author.
She graduated from BYU at the age of 53 with a Master in Engineering
Berta also served 2 missions: Hawaii (as an engineer for Hawaii Reserves Inc, in Laie) Washington DC (International Affairs, working with ambassadors)

So we are going to celebrate….Join us Oct 9, 2017 at 1pm.
Its Canadian Thanksgiving, and we will eat Turkey, Ham and all the trimmings (some favorite dishes she made for us) and Pies!!
