ALICE CLEVERLY HOSKINS, born May 18, 1926 to John and Josephine Cleverly in Cambridge, Massachusetts, died peacefully on September 9, 2017 in Houston, Texas at the age of 91 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Hoskins was predeceased by her loving husband Richard I. (Dick) Hoskins, Jr. in 2008 to whom she was happily married for 60 years. She was a homemaker and loving mother to six children and was very dedicated to her Catholic faith in all things that she did. Mrs. Hoskins was an active member of St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood for several years before moving to the Cypress area and was a dedicated volunteer at Martha's Kitchen and Birthright. Mrs. Hoskins is survived by sons Richard I. Hoskins, III, Robert M. Hoskins and Brian P. Hoskins; daughters, Patricia H. Quinn, Diane H. Lally, Mary H. Cilia; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. She will be missed terribly and will never be forgotten. Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. at Klein Funeral Home, 9719 Wortham Boulevard, Houston, TX 77065. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Msgr. Chester Borski and Rev. Sean Horrigan at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Road, Houston, TX 77065 followed by interment in Houston National Cemetery.
