Alice Shumilas Beloved wife and mother Alice Shumilas, 89, of Hampton, N.J., died on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, at home. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Newark, N.J., followed by a burial at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, N.J. Visitation will be on Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Union Funeral Home Lytwyn and Lytwyn, 1600 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, N.J. Born in Newark, Alice lived in Newark and Maplewood, N.J., before moving to Hampton 32 years ago. Alice worked in the office at Tung-Sol that later became Westinghouse in Bloomfield, N.J., for 39 years. She was the beloved wife of the late Alphonse. Alice is survived by her loving children, Robert and his wife, Linda, and Diana.
