Anthony T. Constantino WWII Army veteran Anthony T. Constantino, 95, a lifelong resident of Belleville, N.J., passed away on Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. Relatives and friends will be received at the S.W. Brown & Son Funeral Home (www.swbrownandson.com), 267 Centre St., Nutley, N.J., today, Sunday, Sept. 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday, Sept. 4, from 6 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday evening at 8 p.m. and on Tuesday, Sept. 5, at 10:30 a.m., followed by burial at Crest Haven Memorial Park in Clifton, N.J. Born in Belleville, Anthony was the son of the late Michael and Marie (Pomponio) Constantino. He was an upholsterer with Zigner Furniture Store in Summit, N.J., before retiring. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Anthony was a member of the Stuart E. Edgar VFW Post 493 in Nutley, the Men's Club at Fewsmith Memorial Presbyterian Church and the Belleville Chapter of AARP. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sandra (Marsh) Constantino; his loving children, Michael Constantino and wife, Kathy, Joan Marie De Simone, James Constantino and wife, Claire; and his grandchildren, Anthony and Rosemary De Simone, Gwen, Joseph and Delia Constantino. He was the dear stepfather of Charles Scherff and wife, Linda, Sharon Metzler and husband, Glen, Susan Lesch and husband, James; step-grandfather of Christine Estell, Amy Ricciardi, Bryan Metzler, Charles Scherff, Lisa Metzler and Jamie Arromando III; and step great-grandfather of Matthew, Alyssa, Lauren, Max, Leo and Charlotte. He also leaves his brother, Vincent Contantino, and was predeceased by 10 brothers and sisters.
