Flower Mound, TX - Adah Earlene (Hogue) Copple, age 89, died Aug 4, 2017 after eleven weeks of hospice at her Texas home. Earlene was born Jan 10, 1928 in Ranger, TX to Naomi Laverne (Hinman) Hogue and Edwin Walter Hogue. Earlene grew up in Hobbs, NM. She married Edwin Floyd Copple of Walnut Hill, IL on Aug 16, 1952 in Hobbs, NM. They had four children, Bruce E. Copple (Tammy) Pearland, TX; Brenda E. Copple, Flower Mound, TX; David W. Copple (Pauline) St. John, IN; Ginger M. Copple Herring (Rance), Bedford, TX. Four grandchildren, Christopher S. Copple (Shelley) Austin, TX; Julie M. Copple Venske (G. Michael) Pearland, TX; Kelly M. Craig Taylor (Matthew) Plainfield, IL; Kristen M. Copple, St. John, IN. Five great-grandchildren, Abigail, Brody and Cohen Copple; Lillian and Trevor Venske. Earlene is survived byher sister, Evelyn (Hogue) Carey, San Antonio, TX and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceding Earlene in death, her beloved husband of 48 years Edwin F. Copple d2001, and Aunt Bobbie O. (Hinman) Skelton d 2012. Earlene was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters of the Republic of Texas. Earlene lived in Park Forest, IL 1968-1988, Highland Village, TX 1989-2016. Funeral service was held Aug 12, 2017 at Trietsch UMC in Flower Mound, TX with interment at Flower Mound Cemetery.
