Ann F. Gallagher  (Age 71)  
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, family member and friend passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 surrounded by family and friends, who loved her dearly. Ann cared deeply for everyone she met, often creating life-long friendships from a short meeting or a brief conversation; but her greatest joy in life was her family, whom she supported, encouraged and loved until the day she died. She is survived by her husband, Frank; three children, Matt, Molly Guthrie (Mark) and Brian; grandchildren, Katelyn Guthrie and Wade Guthrie, sister Gaele DeGross (Bob); brother, Stephen Fanning (Margaret) and her uncle, Raymond Fanning. A visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, August 20 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road in Fairfax, Virginia. Funeral service will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church at 5121 Woodland Way in Annandale, Virginia on Monday, August 21 at 10:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Fairfax Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Ambrose Catholic School, 3827 Woodburn Road, Annandale, Virginia 22003 or Good Shepherd Pre-School, 9350 Braddock Road, Burke, Virginia 22015 to support early childhood education.
