On Friday, August 11, 2017 of Washington, DC. Loving husband of the late Regeane Lancaster Hill. Father of the late Sandra Tibbs and Kimmon Melvin Lewis, Sr. He is survived by siblings, Florence Ross and Ernest Hill; grandchildren, Kim Edwards (Allen), Kimmon Melvin. Lewis, Jr. (Tamara) and Bonnie Lee (Russell); great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. He proudly served in the US Army in WWII. Family will receive friends on Saturday, August 19 at St. Luke Baptist Church, 1415 Gallatin St. NW., Washington, DC. Visitation 10 a.m. service 11 a.m. Interment Maryland National Memorial Park.
