CLIMER, Christopher Paul Christopher Paul Climer, 69, of Dallas, TX passed away on August 12, 2017. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Ann Climer, their three children Nicholas Climer, Kathleen Climer, and Jacob Climer, Nic's wife Sally Climer, Jacob's husband Jim McCarthy. and six grandchildren, Corbin Climer, Payton Climer, Miki Climer, Frankie Spicer, Taryn Climer, and Kamila Spicer. Born in Little Rock, Arkansas on September 28, 1947, Chris moved to Dallas in 1969 and lived in Oak Cliff with his family ever since. He founded Family Music Center in 1980, and the store continues to operate today on North Riverfront Blvd. A ceremony will be held at Kessler Park United Methodist Church on Wed., Aug. 16th at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Chris's name to Refugee Services of Texas and/or Momentous Institute.
