ZARTOLAS, ADA H., of Davie, Florida, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017. Ada was born in Oriente, Cuba on August 22, 1927 and migrated to the United States in the early 50's settling in Connecticut, where she met her husband George. They moved to Florida in 1957 and started their family. They were active member of the Jaycees and The Harlequin Clubs for many years. Ada also worked at Broward Community College in the Registrar's office, a job she really loved. In 1968, Ada was able to bring her family from Cuba and helped them start a new life in the USA. She was a kind, generous, fun loving person. She touched many lives and will be missed by all of us. Survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, George, daughters, Debbie (Bob) Bergin, Jackie (Joe) East, her four grand-children, Danny (Vanessa) Bergin, Michelle Bergin, Joleen and Jessica East, three great grandchildren, Brooke, Brianna and Brittany Bergin. Also survived by her siblings, Jaime De Hombre, Juanita Alcazar, Raquel De Hombre, and Juan Jose De Hombre. Visitation on Saturday, August 19th from 11:00 A.M. ~ 1:00 P.M. at Fred Hunters Hollywood Memorial Home, 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood. The Celebration of Ada's Life will begin at 1:00 P.M. followed by Entombment at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum.
