Adelle C. Kopke ( nee Rosiak) died Sunday afternoon on August 6, 2017 at Wauconda healthcare in Wauconda, Illinois. She was born on August 13, 1914 in Chicago to Walter and Mary Rosiak and later married William C. Kopke who preceded her in death in 1969. Adelle and her husband were long time residents of Chicago and later moved to River Grove. Adelle eventually moved to McHenry, Illinois to be closer to her family. Adelle retired from the Cook County Assessors' office while William retired from the Chicago Transit Authority. Adelle was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters. She is survived by sons, Ronald N. Kopke (Kathleen) of Dublin, Ohio and Kenneth D. Kopke (Bonell)of San Diego, California. She had four grandchildren, Jaqueline, Gregory, Robyn, Janelle; six great-grandchildren, Cari, Steven, Adelle, Margaret, Calvin, Simon; and four great-great grandchildren, Riley, Zachary, Abigail, Quinten. Adelle's passion was her family and she will be lovingly remembered by all. Arrangements are private and being handled by Justen Funeral Home & Crematory in McHenry.
