Elizabeth Mae "Becky" Carnahan passed away peacefully August 11, 2017. Becky is a cancer survivor and bravely fought multiple medical problems. Born to Fred and Opal Johnson January 8, 1940, Becky lived her life full of love and was happiest when surrounded by her family.
She was a faithful and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had the opportunity to serve in many callings; her favorites were those in the primary. She truly believed the spirit of Christ was closest when serving children.
She graduated from West High and worked as administrative assistant at Salt Lake Community College. Becky loved acting and was a beautiful writer. Her poetry will be cherished with love.
Becky is survived by her loving husband, Jack; son, Tim (Desirae); daughters: Kellie Ellett, Shannon Graff, and Erin Carnahan; 9 grandchildren; and 1 great-granddaughter. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Kenneth, Richard, and Ray; and her beloved son, Michael.
The family wishes to thank the caregivers of Valeo Home Health and Hospice and The Lodge for their kind and loving care of Becky in her last days.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Jenkins Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah. Funeral services will be the following day, Thursday, August 17, at 11:00 AM with a visitation from 9:30-10:30 AM at The Clay Park Chapel, 67 West Clay Park Drive, Murray, Utah. Interment to follow at the Murray City Cemetery, 5600 South Vine Street, Murray.
