BOGGIO, ALVAN "Bob" Bob Boggio was born November 29, 1924 in Thompsonville, CT and passed away on August 3, 2017 in Port Charlotte FL at age 92. He previously lived in Casselberry FL and Miami FL and retired from the Miami-Dade Water Department. He served in the US Navy during World War II. Bob was a devout Catholic and an avid bowler. He was a loving and caring person whose warm smile and sense of humor made him friends everywhere he went. Bob was predeceased by his wife of 67 years Margaret and son Barry. He is survived by five childrenLloyd Boggio (Nancy), Robert Boggio (Kathy Collins), Stephen Boggio (Chris), Monica Thompson (Art) and Donna Boggio (Greg Shelhammer). Survivors also include numerous grandchildren, great grand-children, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on September 16 at St Ambrose Catholic Church, 380 S Federal Hwy, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441 with a dinner reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bob's memory to Mother Cabrini Shrine, 20189 Cabrini Blvd, Golden, CO 80401.
