Anita Marie Olson of Lady Lake, FL, formerly of Arlington Heights, Illinois, passed away on February 13, 2017. Anita was born to Milton and Lillian (Doerr) in Evergreen Park, IL on October 11, 1952. She worked for many years for the Metropolitan Sanitary District in Chicago. She lovingly cared for her grandmother, Eva Doerr, for many years. Anita loved her dog Max, and donated much of her time to caring for rescue greyhound race dogs, including her own dog Atina. Anita LOVED coffee, Chicago style pizza and talking to her mom on the phone. She is survived by her father Milton Olson of Sun City Center, FL. Her brother Tony and his family of South Dakota and Michigan; and her brother Mark and his family of Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother Lillian Olson. Visitation at 9:00 AM will be followed by a memorial mass at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at St. Edna's Parish, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
