On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, Alvertis Chestnut-Barnhill peacefully passed at her residence in Ft. Washington, MD. Dear wife of William Barnhill; mother of Amanda Barnhill and stepmother of Arvis Barnhill. Her family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, August 4 at Greater Morning Star Apostolic Ministries, 1700 Ritchie Marlboro Road, Largo, MD. Viewing 10 a.m., followed by Celebration of Life service at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Clinton, MD 20735. Friends are invited to join the family for a repast at Greater Morning Star immediately following the interment.
