Ann Aletta Goodwin Lambertville wife, mother , grandmother, 90 Ann Aletta Goodwin, 90, of Lambertville, N.J., died on Thursday, July 27, 2017, at her home. There will be a gathering for family and friends on Monday evening, July 31, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Van Horn-McDonough Funeral Home, 21 York St., Lambertville 08530 (vhmfh.com). Memorial services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Flemington Women's Club, 43 Park Ave., Flemington, N.J. 08822 Born in Jersey City, N.J., Aletta lived in Belleville, N.JM., before moving to Lambertville 38 years ago. She was a fraud investigator for the State of New Jersey's Division of Labor and Industry for 10 years before retiring in 1983. Aletta earned her master's degree in English literature from the Newark College of Arts and Science (today Rutgers University, Newark). She loved reading, especially English literature. Aletta was a past member of the Kalmia Club in Lambertville. Aletta was the mother of the late Jane Goodwin, the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Murray Dunt, and the sister of the late Elaine Hauptly. She is survived by her husband, Geoffrey C.S. Marsh; her children, Susan Pietrykoski of Belleville, Anne Goodwin of Cranford, N.J., and William Goodwin (wife Susan) of New Hope, Pa.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Holmes, John Pietrykoski, Thomas Pietrykoski, James Goodwin, Samuel Goodwin, and Emma Goodwin, and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Holmes, Sophia Holmes, Melissa Pietrykoski, Steve Pietrykoski, and William Pietrykoski. Memorial donations may be made to the Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Dr., Flemington, N.J. 08822.
